Romans 12:9-12

"Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer."

Lately.

Haven't updated in awhile- sorry about that!  Well not much out of the ordinary has been going on.  Jonny has been working like crazy- he works during the day installing TV stuff and then works at Papa Johns at night.  He works so much and so hard- I am so unbelievably proud of him!  He is amazing.  It has been hard to find time for each other but we are grateful when we do :)  I am still looking for a job- however, in July I will start refing Youth Volleyball- I am pretty excited about it!  I am still looking for a day/weekend job so keep praying.

This past weekend I went to Brownwood for my friends wedding.  I drove down with my bestie and we made a weekend of it... It was a great time!  The wedding was hot but she looked beautiful and so it was good fun!  Me and Joanna saw the hangover which was HILARIOUS!!! Sunday, I had a graduation party which was great- I am blessed!  This week me and Jonny are starting to house sit for some friends- we will be house sitting for 3 weeks!!!  They have two dogs and a guinea pig (sp?) so it should be fun/interesting.... Tomorrow, I am leaving to go to College Station to pick up my car- it is FINALLY done!!!  Other than that the week should be pretty normal!  This weekend should be great fun so I am excited for that!!!

Thats what has been going on lately...  On another note- We are coming up on a year in our marriage and we are so blessed!!  I can't believe its been almost a year- it feels like yesterday that I was walking down the isle....  Jonny is such an incredible man of God and I fall more and more in love with him everyday!!!

Have a great week!!  God bless all!!

Dads Day

HAPPY FATHERS DAY to all Dads!

Hope everyone is having a great Fathers Day!  Today, me and Jonny took his dad out for lunch and then came to Arlington and spent some time with my dad... My grandparents, Aunt and Uncle came over too... It was a good day :)  We are so thankful for our dads and how much they give to us- even when we are on our own!  We are definitely blessed beyond what we deserve!

He is such a wonderful father and I am so grateful for everything he has done and continues to do in my life.  I have no pictures of Jonny and his dad- this will change soon :)

Every Picture Tells a Story.

My camera has been dead for awhile and I haven't been able to find my charger (amidst all the moving and boxes).  Thankfully, I FOUND the charger and so here are some pictures from my camera... They are random and have no particular order because I haven't had my camera in awhile!

Blessed.

Tonight me and Jonny got to spend the night hanging out with his parents. One day out of the week we set aside to eat dinner together and play some 42 (a domino game for those who don't know)... Me and Donna have won 3 out of 4 times we have played- we are pro for sure ;) Tonight, I made chicken and dumplings for everyone :) It was very yummy if I do say so myself! It takes two hours and I practically destroy the kitchen so its not something that is made often- I make it completely from scratch!!! It is such a blessing and pleasure to be living so close (next door) to them! We have so much fun and can't thank them enough for all they have done and continue to do for us!

Our parents have given up so much and we just can't thank them enough. They continue to give their love and support everyday and we are so thankful for that... They are the best people I know and their examples of what marriage is suppose to look like is amazing! Anyways... Didn't have much to say tonight but wanted to share with everyone how amazing they are and how thankful and blessed we are!! God bless and have a wonderful nigtht!!

Another Day

Jonny started his job yesterday- he loves it.  The job is more hands on than sitting at desk which he loves.  He worked a lot yesterday and today and can't wait to go back monday (hopefully this will last awhile)!  He is making good money and we are so very blessed and thankful for that- God always provides!  I am still looking for a job as of this moment but we are trusting Him for His guidance.

Yesterday and Today I got to babysit my old youth pastors son, Pearson Kuykendall...  He is precious and a very good baby... He didn't like to take naps but he was a very happy baby so it was easy!  I really enjoyed spending time with the baby and catching up with Eric and Courtney.  It is weird to see them with a kid but they are wonderful parents and have one stinkin cute kid!  Love them all!!

Tomorrow me and my family are helping clean out a house for my oldest brother.  They are going to sell the house so we are moving everything out and going to clean it up real good... I haven't seen it yet but my mom says the house is pretty dirty so we will see- hopefully it won't take too long.. We have to get up super early though :(  Anyways... Gotta catch some shut eye before a long day of cleaning tomorrow... Night!  God Bless!!

Patience.

Well me and Jonny are all moved into Red Oak.  Jonny started summer school today and starts working at his job tomorrow.  He is gonna work for one of my moms friends installing TVs and such- he is pretty excited.  He will now be attending DBU because they gave him more hours toward his major than UTA!  I am still looking for a job.  I apply to like 20 places a day and nothing has come up. It has been very frustrating but I know the Lord is faithful and something will come up.  I am praying for wisdom and peace about the whole thing- it has been tuff!  I am so very blessed though, to be surrounded by such an amazing family and wonderful husband!  I have been reading a lot in Colossians and 1 John!  The Lord is definitely reminding me of how perfect His timing is and to trust in His peace and direction...  Please continue to pray for it all!

Tomorrow, me and Maddie will be babysitting for our old youth minister and I am VERY excited!  Pictures to come!  His name is Pearson and is not even a year yet- adorable!!!  Jonny will be working tomorrow and doing school...  Well thats about all I got- night!

God bless!

"And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light." -Colossians 1:10-12-
