Romans 12:9-12

"Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer."

Accident

My car got in a little accident today, but I was not in it..  At about 1, I go outside to find my car wrecked and down the street.  I have been in College Station finishing up some things and I was gonna head back to Arlington today after I babysat.  I was about to pack my car to leave only to find out a guy had hit my car while being parked in front of my sisters house.  The guy was looking on the floorboard, trying to get something off the ground and ran straight into my car. Thankfully he stayed and has good insurance.  The police came and we got things worked out.  Although, the police man was very rude and gave me a ticket for parking the wrong way on the street.  My car isn't in great shape at all- he hit it going pretty fast (made it go like 20 feet).  I got a rental car for now!  Thankfully I was not loading my car at the time and that I was still in the house.  Here is my poor baby :(

Thanks and Gig'em!!

Today I graduated from Texas A&M! WHOOP!!  It was a very long ceremony- 3 hrs!  But it was fun and definitely worth it...  I knew a lot of people who graduated so it was neat to share the experience with my sweet friends.  Jonny's parents, my parents, and Nathan and Jenny came in to see me... It was great fun... After, we went to olive garden to celebrate..  I can't believe it is all over- it is sad/exciting...  Me and Jonny also will be completely moved out tomorrow and moved to Red Oak.. So we are pretty excited about that... Here is some pictures (i will post them all on facebook later):  Enjoy!!

5.7.09

This week has been pretty uneventful.  It has been dead week here at A&M which means no school!!  They give us some days off to prepare for finals, which start tomorrow..  I only have one and its on Monday- WHOOP!  I can't believe I am one test away from being done with college- crazy.  Jonny will be done with his on Tuesday- he only has two left!!

Jonny has been really sick this week :(  Yall can be praying for him!  He has been throwing up and had a sore throat.  He is feeling better today!  He has been getting lost of rest, taking medicine, and drinking lots of fluids.  He hasn't had a fever so I think we are clear of the swine flu.  Tonight I have been sanitizing our apartment lol... I am trying my hardest NOT to get sick!

We can't believe we only have one more week in our apartment- our first home, before we have to move.  We have to be out by the 17th!  It is very sad and we are going to miss this place a lot...  We are excited though for the next chapter in our life!  I am dreading moving though- my mom is coming down tuesday to help which will be a God send!

Anyways.. Have a blessed night!

Here is my verse for the day:  “Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.”- Colossians 4:5-6

Praise Jesus!

Jonny and I got someone to sublease our apartment for the summer- whoop!!!  For those who don't know, me and Jonny are moving back to Arlington after I graduate- which is in 2 weeks :)  Jonny will be finishing up his last year at UTA.  We are both very excited to be moving back home- it will be nice to be near family.  I am still looking for a job and prayers are much appreciated.  Its frustrating and scary not knowing where I am going to be working but I know God has got it under control and He will provide.  I have been learning a lot about letting go of fears and looking UP!!  A lot of times, I get stuck continually crying out to the Lord but never take the time to look up and remember that He still reigns!!!  I forget to fight and call on the Lord- which is such a simple truth!

Graduation is so close and its becoming very real that I will be leaving in 2 weeks for good.  Today I finished up 4 out of my 6 classes- what a relief!  It is a very sad/exciting time and I am going to miss this place soo much!  These four years have been some of the best in my life and I am so very blessed by the experiences and people I have met here.

Thats all for now!  Have a blessed night!
