Me and Hils went to a Dave Barnes Concert in Bryan Friday night.  It was a great concert and we had lots of fun together.  We don't get to see each other often so it was soo great to catch up!  We went and ate at a little Mexican food place in Downtown Bryan and then on to the concert!  Jonny had to work and then went and played some cards with his buddies!  Here are some pictures of the concert :)

Hope everyone had a blessed Easter!  Mine was wonderful although I missed Jonny alot.  Jonny had to work ALL Easter weekend so I went home to Arlington and he had to stay here :(  It was sad to be apart and I missed him so much but I enjoyed the time I had with my family.  I am very blessed by my family and miss being near them soo much!  Anyways.. Matthew 28:1-10 
"After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb. There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.

The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: 'He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.' Now I have told you."

So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. Suddenly Jesus met them. "Greetings," he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. Then Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me."

Easter is such a wonderful time to be with family and friends but it is so much more than that!  Jesus is ALIVE!  We come to celebrate His death and resurrection.  It is a day set aside to remember our Lord and the Sacrifice He made 2000 years ago...  May we all be mindful of this everyday and thank our savior for the gift of salvation.  God bless yall!  Have a wonderful and safe easter weekend!

So I saw this video for the first time years ago.  I have seen it a million times and every time I get goosebumps!  It is soo powerful.  This week has been pretty tough and really busy and so the video came back into my mind and I thought I would share :)  Hope you enjoy it (you may have seen it before).

My Birthday!

Yesterday was my 22nd birthday!  My husband is amazing- I am soo blessed.  I got off work around 11 on Thursday and came home to our apartment completely decorated out with balloons and streamers!  Not only did he decorate the apartment but he bought me flowers, chocolate covered strawberries, and cheesecake :)  He is sooo awesome!!  Not only did he do all that but Wednesday he took me to U paint and eat at Outback... He did so good this year! 

 Today was a pretty normal day... I got up, went to school, and then came home and napped.  At around six me and Jonny went to Hils house to eat pizza and hangout with friends!  It was fun- i love all the sweet times with them! Then me and hils went to Relay for Life!  It was my first time to participate in Relay for life and it was great fun- a little cold but fun!!  There were a ton of stuff going on there and at midnight we had a yell practice :)  

My day was great and just a wonderful reminder of how blessed I am and thankful for all the wonderful people in my life!!!  Good night!!

HAPPY APRIL FOOLS DAY!  Anybody do anything funny for April fools??  

Well today was pretty uneventful but it was a great day!  I went to school and then did NOTHING all day- loved it!  Jonny had a test today so he was studying most of the day- poor baby.  Tonight we celebrated my 22nd birthday (which isn't till Friday).  We went to U Paint it here in College Station.  Its a place where you pick from all these blank ceramic things (plates, picture frames, soap dishes, mugs, and so much more) and then you get to paint it!  Jonny painted a beer mug and I painted a plate!  It was difficult for us to be creative but we had fun!  Jonny painted a dragon on his mug hahaha... And my plate was green and had our initials on it- it turned out great.  You have to leave the things there so they can dry and be glazed!  I will post pictures when we get them back!  Then we went and ate at Outback which was awesome!  After dinner we came home and watched Marley and Me.  It was a great movie but very sad- i cried but I want a puppy sooo bad!  It was a wonderful date!  We hadn't been on a date in awhile so it was much needed!  It was a blast!   God Bless!!!!
